4.1 Nature of Products
All products sold by JDM Florida are used automotive components imported from Japan. This includes but is not limited to JDM replacement engines, performance engines, transmissions, front clips, interior and exterior parts, RHD vehicles, wheels, and related accessories. Our product inventory spans brands including Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, and Mitsubishi, among others.
Because these are used parts, they will show signs of wear, surface scratches, and aging consistent with their mileage history. Engines typically have between 20,000 and 70,000 miles on them at the time of sale, depending on the year of manufacture. Minor cosmetic imperfections are inherent to the nature of used JDM components and are not considered defects. This is clearly disclosed in each product listing.
4.2 Product Descriptions and Accuracy
We make every reasonable effort to describe our products accurately, including condition, mileage range, included components, and known characteristics. However, because these are used components sourced from Japan, we cannot guarantee that every detail in a product listing will be exhaustive. Product images are taken of the actual item or representative stock from the same import lot. Screen display settings may cause minor color variation, which we cannot control.
4.3 Buyer's Responsibility for Fitment
It is entirely the buyer's responsibility to verify that a product is compatible with their vehicle before placing an order. JDM Florida does not guarantee fitment for any particular vehicle unless we have explicitly confirmed compatibility in writing. We strongly encourage buyers to consult a qualified mechanic or verify compatibility through a reputable parts catalog before purchasing. Orders placed for the wrong vehicle or wrong application are not eligible for a return on the basis of incompatibility alone if the buyer failed to confirm fitment prior to purchase.
4.4 Product Availability
All products are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue any product, or refuse any order at our sole discretion. If an item you ordered becomes unavailable after your purchase, we will notify you promptly and arrange either a full refund or a suitable alternative, at your option.
4.5 Emission Compliance
Engines and transmissions sold by JDM Florida are intended for installation as road-use replacements. Engines may come with add-on external accessories attached for testing purposes only, at no additional charge. The purchase price represents the cost of the long block only (cylinder head and short block). It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the installed engine complies with all state and federal emission control regulations applicable in their jurisdiction. This may require transferring emission devices from the old engine to the replacement unit.
§ 5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Pricing
All prices displayed on this website are in United States Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of the item price only. Prices do not include shipping costs, applicable taxes, or any additional fees unless explicitly stated at checkout. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed on your order invoice at the time of purchase.
5.2 Accepted Payment Methods
JDM Florida accepts payment by major credit and debit cards and other methods displayed at checkout. All payment transactions are encrypted and processed securely. 5.3 Order Confirmation
After you complete your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email at the address you provided. This confirmation is an acknowledgment that we have received your order. It is not a guarantee of fulfillment. JDM Florida reserves the right to cancel any order after confirmation if the item is found to be unavailable, if a pricing error is identified, or if we are unable to verify the transaction. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be issued promptly.
5.4 Sales Tax
JDM Florida collects and remits sales tax as required under applicable state law. Florida-based transactions are subject to Florida state sales tax. For orders shipped to other states, sales tax obligations are determined based on our nexus obligations under South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. (2018) and the applicable destination state's economic nexus thresholds. If tax is applicable to your order, it will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
5.5 Deposits
Deposits collected to reserve a specific item, confirm a special order, or initiate an import sourcing request are non-refundable. This applies to RHD vehicle deposits and any other reservation deposits. Please be certain of your purchase before submitting a deposit.
§ 6. Order Processing and Fulfillment
6.1 Order Processing
Orders are processed during our normal business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST. Orders placed outside of business hours will be processed on the next business day. During high-demand periods or due to inventory verification requirements, processing may take additional time. We will communicate any delays to you promptly.
6.2 Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: suspected fraud, inability to verify customer information, pricing errors, product unavailability, or if the order appears to be placed for resale or distribution without our prior written authorization. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund of any amount charged.
6.3 Order Accuracy
You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide at checkout is accurate and complete, including your shipping address, contact details, and vehicle compatibility information. JDM Florida is not liable for delays, non-deliveries, or incorrect shipments resulting from errors in information you provided.
§ 7. Shipping
JDM Florida ships all orders via freight carrier within the continental United States only. Large items such as engines and transmissions are shipped on pallets via freight. Shipping times and costs vary based on destination and item weight. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout before the purchase is completed.
It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect all freight deliveries at the time of arrival, before signing the proof of delivery. If you notice damage to the packaging or the item upon delivery, you must note the damage on the carrier's proof of delivery document before signing or refuse the delivery. Failure to document damage at delivery may limit your ability to file a damage claim.
JDM Florida is not responsible for shipping delays caused by freight carriers, weather events, natural disasters, labor actions, or other circumstances outside of our control.

§ 8. Returns and Refunds
All return and refund requests are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. Key terms are summarized below for your convenience, but the full policy governs in all cases.
Returns must be requested within 30 calendar days of the purchase date. Items must be in the same condition as sold, fully assembled, uninstalled, and accompanied by all originally included components. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required before any return can be shipped back to us. Returns sent without an RMA number will be refused.
Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days after a returned item has been received and inspected at our warehouse. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are not refundable in standard return cases.
Certain items, including ECUs, electronic components, installed parts, and deposit payments, are not eligible for return under any circumstances.

§ 9. Warranty
All applicable warranty terms are governed exclusively by our Warranty Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. A brief summary of coverage periods is provided below, but the full warranty policy governs in all cases.
Used replacement engines are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase (unless otherwise specified on the invoice). Used performance engines are covered for 30 days. Transmissions are covered for 30 days (used performance) or 90 days (used replacement), as specified. Rotary engines (13BT, 13BTT, and 20B variants of the Mazda RX-7 sold as used performance units) carry no warranty. ECUs and all other electronic units carry no warranty.
Warranty coverage is contingent on the buyer following all required installation and maintenance procedures outlined in the warranty policy. Failure to install through a certified mechanic, failure to perform required maintenance, modification of the engine, or installation in a non-intended vehicle may void warranty coverage at our discretion.
